The sun has been acting up and we captured some impressive solar flares. This activity spawned a space weather alert from NOAA:

The solar activity has been on the rise. These kind of events are not too impactful to Earth but can cause issues to satellites and spacecraft not protected buy our magnetic field. To put it to scale many Earths would fit in these flares.
