Meteor over Iowa 12-28-13

Great Video of Possible Meteor over Iowa 12/27/13

Last night security cameras caught a very long duration video of what looks like a Meteor burning up. The fireball, a possible meteor, was spotted at about 5:40 p.m. could also be a piece of space junk re-entering. As you can see in the video from a security camera in North Liberty Iowa, the object streaks across the entire screen and lasts a long time. This tends to make me think it is moving a bit slower. That and the low angle of re-entry tend to make me think it is space junk but that is really just an educated guess at best.

Reports indicated  it was seen across many Midwestern states, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska.
