CME headed for Earth from Sunspot 1577, impact 9/30/12

NOAA  estimates 50 percent chance of Earth impact.

NOAA forecasters estimate a 50 percent chance the coronal mass ejection (CME) solar  from sunspot will impact earth on September 30th. . The Magnetic fields around sunspot 1577 erupted on Sept. 28th, hurling a matter almost directly toward Earth. The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) observed the ejection as it moved away from the sun at 2.2 million mph:
